Effective August 10, 2026
Terms of Use
These Terms include SnippetCue’s Acceptable Use Policy and apply when you use the app or keyboard extension.
Relationship to Apple’s license
Your license to the app is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy are supplementary; they do not replace Apple’s Standard EULA or rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. If a provision conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls the app license.
Your content and actions
You are responsible for the snippets you create and for deciding where, when, and how to insert them. You must have the necessary rights to your content and must comply with applicable law, contracts, platform rules, workplace rules, and third-party rights.
Exported libraries contain readable, unencrypted JSON. You are responsible for protecting, storing, and sharing exported files after they leave SnippetCue through a location or provider you select.
Acceptable Use Policy
You may not use SnippetCue to:
- send unsolicited bulk messages or spam;
- harass, threaten, exploit, or harm another person;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or authority;
- commit or facilitate fraud, credential collection, phishing, or unlawful activity;
- infringe privacy, intellectual-property, contractual, or other third-party rights; or
- bypass or defeat a host app’s rules, safeguards, rate limits, access controls, or security decisions.
Compatibility and operation
SnippetCue works only in compatible text fields. Secure or restricted fields may require the system keyboard, and host apps can disable third-party keyboards. Host apps control their destination fields and may reject, modify, reformat, or fail to preserve text exactly as requested.
Progressive insertion is user-controlled paced entry. A long Progressive session may be interrupted by the operating system, the host app, a keyboard change, a field change, a lifecycle event, or another condition outside SnippetCue’s control. Compatibility with every app, field, device state, or uninterrupted session is not guaranteed.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains local storage, Full Access, exports, purchases, website delivery, and voluntary support email. You remain responsible for content you place into a third-party app or export to a location outside SnippetCue.
Pro purchase
The containing app is free to download. SnippetCue may offer an optional one-time, non-consumable Pro purchase through Apple. The price shown by the App Store or StoreKit at the time of purchase controls. Apple processes payment, taxes, refunds, and purchase records under its terms. Family Sharing is not offered for the V1 Pro product.
Intellectual property
You retain your rights in the content you create. SnippetCue and its software, design, branding, and documentation remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant no ownership interest beyond the limited right to use the app under the Standard EULA.
Availability, changes, and termination
Features may change to maintain security, privacy, legal compliance, platform compatibility, or product integrity. You may stop using SnippetCue at any time by deleting it. Your right to use the app ends if the applicable license ends or if you materially violate these Terms, subject to applicable law. Provisions that by their nature should survive continue after termination.
These Terms may be updated when the product or legal requirements change. The effective date above will change, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance only to the extent allowed by applicable law.
Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SnippetCue is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. No promise is made that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every field or host app, or that a host app will accept or preserve requested text.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, use, business, or profits arising from SnippetCue. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, and any mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
